Some people might think there are too many plants in my room, but the reason is that I only have my room to put them in sort of. The rest of the house isn't plant-friendly space wise and hygiene wise (lol). For those of you that don't know, I live in a student house with 2 schoolmates. Once I move out of here on day, and hopefully move in somewhere else with my boyfriend - then I'll have an entire apartment to fill with living green beauties ! :) Hopefully, one day I'll have an entire garden as well. Let's hope!
Here are some pics of my plants and how they are developing :) It really brings a lot of joy and just a peaceful atmosphere to have growing plants in your surrounding.
Here's my awesome rubber plant :) I just read that it likes if you "feed it" leftover tea leaves. I'm gonna try that and hope that it will grow really big :D As you can see here in the 3 pics, the first one is after I just got it, then a while ago a new leaf popped up and then from today, in the 3rd pic, you see another new leaf and how the one from pic #2 grew really big!
Here's the curly one of my spider plants (scary name, cause I'm scared of spiders!) I just re-planted it today into a bigger pot and separated it and put one "thingy" in some water, so that it can grow some roots :) Then after a while, I'll put it in its own little pot to grow further!
This is my second, different kind of spider plant. It was sooo tiny tiny when I got it from IKEA 6 months ago, and as you can see (!!!) it has grown a LOT ! :D
Here's a pic of a Hoya that I stole from my boyfriend's grandmother's house. It's growing in an old wine bottle and in the pic you can see the first leaf it got after I put it in my house! I hope it will get flowers in the spring - pink small really lovely bunches of flowers!
Follwing is my ficus plant, it also grew a whole lot!
And here are 2 more :) I got a few more, but they are still babies so I'll get back to some pictures of their progress in a while!
