Missed that regular creativity flow from when I was a kid...

Actually, it was before Xmas 2009 that I was at Xenos (a store with a lot of random things) and I found this cute little set of colors for paining glasses and porcelain. Fun! I thought and together with the color set I got some nice long drink glasses that I figured I'd make unique!

So here are the first 2 glasses, the first one I made together with a housemate who painted another glass of his own. The other one I made last night when I just wanted to relax and not really think about anything.




I miss the times when you were a kid and every week you were doing all these creative things - painting something, making something and just making use of the creativity flow from your brain.

I made a scarf for my boyfriend a year back, that was also fun. These small activities maybe seem stupid and silly, but I really enjoy them.

I think it's a good way of getting away from reality for just a little while and focus all your leftover energy on making that little detail as perfect as you can make it.

It brings joy to everyday life! :)

Easter is coming up + exams

Easter always used to be a special weekend. When I was small, we often went to Poland and spent the entire Easter weekend with the entire family there. Last years before I moved to Holland, I at least spent it with my parents in Sweden...

This year it's the 3rd year I'm not able to spend Easter with any family members, because of the weird system that I only get a week off 1,5 week after Easter.. And my exams start the days immediately after Easter..... SUCKS soooo much.

It's a pity, because I'm not able to make as nice Easter food as my mommy can do and you just need family around to feel the spirit sort of... Yeah, well.

I just can't wait until I just have a nice job and I'll be off during Easter, take a flight home and just celebrate in the way which you are supposed to with tons of food, painted eggs, colorful chickens and feathers around the house and Easter candy!

I was working the entire Easter weekend, so my only joy were these decorations... Well better than nothing I guess! Let's see what I can create this year instead.
